Global Council (HK$ 85,000 +)

This new group is created for supporters and art enthusiasts who want to create global networks in exciting emerging contexts on every continent. This unique Global Council will rethink supporters programmes to focus on contemporary art in non-Western contexts, with the ambition of becoming one of the most forward looking international supporters councils based outside of the West. As part of this council, we will shape together new networks of exchange and you will receive global access to artists, collectors, and institutions. Founding Friends (HK$ 70,000)

  • Be the first to hear about Para Site events, special promotions, and VIP offers

And because we would like you to know exactly how your support translates into our work, here are a few examples of costs for our projects:

$3,000 is a wall text for one of our exhibitions
$5,000 is the transportation of a visiting artist from the region
$10,000 is the electricity in the gallery for one month
$40,000 is the production of Para Site’s booth in Art Basel
$70,000 is the production of a newly commissioned installation work
$120,000 is the printing of a major Para Site publication
$400,000 is the production of a regular Para Site exhibition
$500,000 is the organisation of our International Conference

Apart from annual levels of support, Para Site always welcomes donations of any size! As you can see from the above list, even the smallest contribution enables us to cover important costs.

 

Tax Deductible

Para Site is a registered section 88 charity with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department; donations of HK$100 or above are tax deductible.
