The Second Biennial of the Canary Islands has its primary aim at initiating a series of reflections around the idea of contemporary landscape from a position that might enable a reading of the territory and to research and analyze the Micronesia and the Canary Islands in particular. To Juan Manuel Palerm Salazar, the biennial’s director, one of the visions of the event is to enable a future in which man can experience landscape as the ‘ideal context to live in’. Para Site Art Space from Hong Kong is also invited to participate and produced a project titled NO-STOP ISLAND: Solid Sea | Liquid Land.
